EnterMedicare’s Services include information, research and shopping capabilities for health insurance and related health insurance products. When using our Services, EnterMedicare requests and collects certain information that may be used to identify you (“Personal Information”), including your name, date of birth, e-mail address, health-related information, address, phone number, Medicare number, Social Security number and financial information. EnterMedicare collects Personal Information in order to provide Services to you, administer the process of providing Services to you (for example, managing your Account), and to enable your optimal utilization of our Services. Personal Information collected from you is used to help you discover and potentially enroll in health insurance or related products. We only use and disclose your Personal Information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may also collect information when you directly communicate with us, such as when you contact us to report a problem with our Services, you respond to requests for feedback, or you complete surveys. EnterMedicare may also collect and segment anonymous data for use related to Services or analyzing and distributing this anonymous data for use by our Company or third-parties.

Like many websites, we may use automated data collection tools such as Cookies and Web Beacons (collectively, “Cookies”) to collect certain information. Cookies are small text files placed on the device utilized to access our services. Cookies may be used to identify that you’ve logged in to the Services, as well as to identify how and when you are interacting with these Services. Service Providers
We may engage certain affiliates and third-party vendors or service providers to work with us to administer and optimize the Services we provide. If you choose to apply, enroll or otherwise engage with one of the third-party insurance companies or entities with whom we have a relationship, we may disclose your Personal Information with those companies or entities in order to process or advance a potential transaction or application. If you submit a request for information or communication related to an insurance product offered through a third-party company or entity, we may disclose your Personal Information (e.g. name, e-mail and/or telephone number) to that company or entity so that they can directly contact you (including via e-mail or telephone) to provide you the requested information.

We may further engage analytics partners, including Google, Inc. and, Inc., to help administer and optimize the Services we provide. As part of this process, we may disclose Personal Information or Site Data or engage with tools where this information is used to produce an analysis of Services utilization.

Any Personal Information and Site Data that are provided to any third-party entity will be governed by that entity’s privacy policy or privacy practices.

Referral Partners
If you were referred to us by, or used our website in connection with a referring entity such as a call center, a current or former employer, an affinity group, a consultant or any other organization with which you may be affiliated -- we may disclose your Personal Information to that entity. For example, we may disclose that you completed certain actions offered as part of our Services.

Business Transactions
Personal Information and Site Data that we collect as part of our Services is considered to be a business asset. If we are acquired as a result of a transaction such as a merger, acquisition or asset sale, some or all of our assets including this information may be disclosed or transferred to a third-party acquirer in connection with such transaction.

EnterMedicare takes reasonable security measures across administrative, physical and electronic infrastructure designed to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access and disclosure. We may choose to encrypt sensitive information using HTTPS, SSL, TLS or other technologies as is deemed reasonable for information security.

Please note that none of the practices we utilize for the purposes of information security can be deemed completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.

Your Personal Information may be maintained or stored on platforms located outside of your specific location. Information may be transferred to domiciles where privacy laws may not be as protective in your jurisdiction.

Some of the Personal Information provided in connection with utilization of our Services and Site may be subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”). This specific Personal Information is referred to as Protected Health Information (“Protected Health Information”, or “PHI”).

Notwithstanding any other terms in this Policy, for any PHI, EnterMedicare will comply with the requirements of HIPAA and any other applicable state privacy laws. EnterMedicare will only collect, store, use and disclose your PHI as permitted by HIPAA and as allowed by the third-party company involved in any potential insurance transaction (e.g. insurance company). We have implemented certain policies and procedures related to security and compliance that comply with HIPAA standards for safeguarding your Protected Health Information.

Our Services are not intended to be used or directed towards anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information for anyone under the age of 18. If we have discovered that information has been collected for anyone under the age of 18, we will take the appropriate actions to delete such information.

California residents may request and obtain from us, once a year, free of charge, a list of any third-parties which we disclosed their Personal Information for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. This request may also include categories of Personal Information shared with those parties. When you receive this type of communication from us, you will have the opportunity to Opt-Out. Certain communications are exempt from this Opt-Out, including any communications we, at our sole discretion, need to send to you -- for example, changes to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, or password resets.

This Policy only governs EnterMedicare’s privacy practices and does not govern the practices of third-party insurance companies whom you may enter into an insurance transaction as a result of our Services. You can normally find an insurer’s privacy policy/privacy practices on the insurer’s website or by contacting the insurer.

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ Personal Information, we will notify you through a notice on the Website home page or otherwise through the Services. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page.
